Experience

As a tutor, I find it important to teach students to think critically about the issue at hand. With proper training in the fundamentals and techniques, students can solve any problem they find challenging. I earned dual bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Latin at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton and a master's degree in Philosophy from Georgia State University.I have tutored high school and college students in Philosophy, Math, and Latin, and currently teach Philosophy at Georgia State. I am able to tutor many different subjects. The ones I am most passionate about are Math, Latin, European History, and Philosophy. Other subjects I can tutor include Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, Writing, Foreign Language, English, Social Sciences, various ISEE and SSAT levels, SAT Math, Verbal, Critical Reading, and Writing, as well as several GRE tests.I intend to be a teacher, and I try to demonstrate my love of learning and knowledge to my students. Rather than teaching to the test, I try to give my students a solid foundation from which they can achieve their goals, whether it's getting into a top-flight university, being accepted for postgraduate work, or succeeding in a tight job market.In my spare time, I like swimming, doing karate, playing video games, and building models.
